My research has shown me that since the 14th Amendment was passed, there are at least three different kinds of US Citizenship:
These are:
natural born, where BOTH of your parents are Citizens before you are born;
naturalized, where you come here as a citizen of a foreign country, apply to become a citizen, study, pass the citizenship test and are sworn in;
14th Amendment, which makes such a child a citizen of the Federal Government.
It’s possible, imo, that a case for a 4th category could exist, too, that of an “American National,” but i won’t bother with that in this context.
Only the first of these qualifies for the presidency or vice-presidency, and i’ll lay out why in a minute.
Arnold Schwartzeneggar was born in Austria, came here and became naturalized; as you probably recall, he rose to the governorship of California, but he’s barred from running for the presidency.
Neither is a 14th Amendment citizen qualified to run for the presidency, either, because she hasn’t met the parental qualifications for “natural born” status.
So here’s how to duplicate my results; websearch:

As best i’ve been able to determine, Emmerich Vattel wrote a ponderous series of tomes entitled “The Law of Nations” ca. 1740 or so. In it, he defines “natural born” as needing two Citizen parents to convey that status in ANY country, i.e. 2 French Citizen parents for a natural born French child, 2 Belgian Citizen parents for a natural born Belgian child, etc.
John Jay, who would eventually become America’s first Chief Supreme Court Justice, was considered to be the American expert on Vattel’s Law of Nations, and it was at his suggestion that the phrase was included in Article 2 as a condition to qualify for the presidency, as a way to avoid “undue foreign influence.”
The First Congress, in their second session, realized that although the meaning of “natural born” was well-known at the time, since the Constitution itself did not define the phrase, decided that it’d be a good idea to make law concerning it for their posterity’s sake(that’d be us). In addition to confirming Vattel’s definition, they added to it a bit, declaring that any child born to any 2 US Citizen parents anywhere in the WORLD would make that child qualified to hold that High Office, and it was duly signed by George Washington, around 1789 or so, as i recall.
i also searched to see if any modification had ever been made to this definition, but could never find one.
As best i can tell, there are 4 SCOTUS cases which mention the natural born clause, 2 pre-14th, and 2 post-14th Amendment. While the issue of presidential qualification isn’t directly mentioned in any that i can find, these rulings all allude to the original definition of “natural born” as requiring TWO Citizen parents.
The first of these was one called The Venus; another of these – “Wonk Kim Ark,” i think it was? Was decided in the 1890’s, to the best of my recollection.
That said, you now have all the info needed to verify what i wrote, above, if you wish. Good Luck!
Bottom line is that even IF Kamaleon is a 14th Amendment citizen, she’s disqualified under the 2-Parent Rule, just like D’OhBama was – but not enough people KNEW this at the time; D’OhBama counted on both ignorance of the Constitution AND a complaisant media, only TOO willing to squelch any stories along this line; i even found where the Congressional Research Service lied about the matter, as well, likely in fear of “repercussions.”

The key words you are not understanding: “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” If both your parents are from foreign nations and are subject to their laws by virtue of still being citizens of those countries, then the child is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. At least one of the parents must be a citizen of the United States.

Student visas are temporary not permanent as they automatically end when the student graduates and the student needs to leave the USA. Kamala’s mother did just that after completing her PhD (took 12 years) and went to Canada where Kamala graduated from High School before returning to the USA. The only available avenue requires when the father became a US Citizen and when Kamala re-entered US after HS; if it was before 18th birthday and father was US Citizen then by derivation Kamala is naturalized US citizen. Otherwise, she is just another illegal alien lacking any evidence of naturalization. So called birthright requires at the least one of the parents at birth of child is green card holder; and it does not help here as Edward Kennedy efforts came after her birth, just so you know.

Just because you are born on US soil doesn’t make you a citizen. That would be the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952. It’s “the devil’s in the details” statute. It’s what lays out the specifics that come from the general law, such as the 14th Amendment. It’s what says Kamala Harris is not only NOT an American citizen, but also can be considered ILLEGAL! All you have to do is follow the LAW! If that were only possible.
